OSI Select Ready Foods Inc., is currently looking for a full-time **_Quality Assurance Technician _**based out of our North East Edmonton operations.

The **Quality Assurance Technician** is responsible for close monitoring of the manufacturing process, document control, and release activities associated with incoming raw materials, intermediate components and finished goods. The Quality Assurance Technician ensures compliance to current GMPs, and the Quality Program.
- Duties for this position include but are not limited to:

- Prepare all daily monitoring records and monitors activities at the specified frequency.
- Perform pre-operational inspection on equipment’s.
- Perform and assist in preparation and conducting environmental swabbing program.
- Assist in weekly and monthly sampling programs.
- Ensure all employees are adhering to the written procedures and GMP.
- Adhere to the identified CCPs for safe product and ensure quality inspections are done consistently.
- Inspect equipment and all lines for daily pre-operational start up.
- Perform hourly food safety and quality assurance inspections as necessary.
- Assist and ensure changeovers are completed as required.
- Monitoring and assisting in batching process controls by collecting lot code information.
- Ensure completion of daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly monitoring tasks and records.
- Perform all monitoring verifications as per schedule.
- Aid in Recall and traceability system.
- Calibrate equipment as per schedule.
- Sample finished product for sample retention daily.
- Conduct quality control tests (during production).
- Provide support and advice to production in quality issues (during production).
- Ensure assigned personnel are following cleaning and sanitation procedures by filling out sanitation forms
- Perform swabs collection as regulatory and company and customer requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
