Disc Jockey

**Job Overview**:
**Duties**:

- Select and play music appropriate for the event or venue
- Interact with the audience to create an enjoyable experience
- Set up and operate DJ equipment, including sound systems and lighting
- Ensure smooth transitions between songs and maintain a seamless flow of music
- Collaborate with event organizers to understand their music preferences and requirements
- Make announcements as needed during the event

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a Disc Jockey or in a similar role
- Extensive knowledge of various music genres and ability to read the crowd
- Proficient in operating DJ equipment such as turntables, mixers, and controllers
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

**Nice-to-Have Skills**:

- Experience with event planning or coordination
- Knowledge of audio mixing software
- Ability to create custom mixes or remixes
