Nature of the work
- Reporting to the Director General, the Coordinator of the Quality Assurance and Planning Office manages and coordinates the development, implementation, evaluation and improvement of the College’s main quality assurance mechanisms for strategic planning, student success and evaluation of services. The coordinator also provides support to the academic administration for program and teacher evaluation and final examinations.
- Responsabilities- Collaborates with the Director General in working with the senior administration to develop and implement indicators for the strategic plan;
- Gathers and analyzes data for the strategic plan indicators and prepare progress reports for senior management on an annual basis;
- Conducts annual and ongoing environmental scan updates as needed. Analyze and interprets information, identifies trends and makes recommendations, as required.
- Conducts the College’s quality assurance audit as required by the Commission d’évaluation de l’enseignement collégial (CEEC);
- Contributes to the development, implementation and evaluation of policies, procedures and guidelines related to the quality assurance processes;
- Collaborates with other departments to ensure quality assurance processes are properly and efficiently serving the College;
- In conjunction with the Academic Dean and sector deans, works collaboratively with program coordinators and faculty members in planning for and implementing program evaluations as per the Institutional Program Evaluation Policy (IPEP).
- Oversees the collection, analysis, and interpretation of institutional data on students, faculty, educational programs, and administrative and support services so as to provide accurate information to support planning and decision-making activities within the College.
- Oversees the operations for teacher evaluation and final exams.
- Ensures that data from internal and external sources to the Dawson Community are timely and accessible;
- Manages a team of professionals and support staff;
- Undertakes other tasks as assigned by the Director General.

**Requirements**:

- Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in an appropriate specialization, such as education, operational research, or institutional research and six (6) years relevant experience.
- Conditions- Minimum of six (6) of experience in conducting institutional research, program evaluation or quality assurance audits.
- Very good understanding of how to conduct a quality assurance audit within an educational milieu.
- Knowledge of and experience with strategic planning implementation and follow -up.
- Advanced knowledge of statistical methodology and analysis and survey design
- Excellent problem solving and organizational skills
- Advanced communication skills, oral and written, in English and intermediate knowledge of French
- Demonstrable leadership skills in staff and/or project management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of MS Office Suite
- A graduate degree in an appropriate specialization will be consider as an asset
- Ability to use SPSS, an asset
