Turnover Co-lead

Overview / Responsibilities:
Wood currently has an exciting opportunity for a
**Turnover co-lead** to join our Mining & Minerals construction project located near Gogama, ON. Reporting through the Project Information Manager, you will be responsible for assisting the Turnover Lead in all activities to support the delivery of all turnover scope to enable commissioning to be completed in line with project schedule and in accordance with agreed procedures.
Initially working from Client office in Sudbury, positions will ultimately require site rotation through completion of the scope.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Delivery of mechanical completion packages in line with commissioning\project schedule
- Support the Turnover lead in all aspects of successful delivery and be prime focal point when lead is off rotation
- Provision of required reporting requirements to the project
- Management of turnover coordinators along with coordination of Turnover Specialist to ensure tasks are being properly completed and in line with commissioning and turnover schedules
- Coordination and management of Pre and Post Turnover Walkdowns
- System acceptance to support TCCC to commissioning
- Review and Acceptance of Sub-System Turnover Packages
- Interface and work with all project groups to drive towards project completion
Skills / Qualifications:
- Technical degree in relevant field of expertise required.
- 5+ years of Turnover experience is required for this position, which must include significant experience of completions and/or commissioning in relevant field
- Project management certification in required, along with experience of coordination of multidisciplinary execution of commissioning or turnover execution.
- Ability to coordinate with all parties, both internal and external from production of Systems and Sub-Systems through to TCCC
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Adept with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Excel, Word
- Experience with an Electronic Document Management System is strongly recommended.
- Authorization to lawfully work in Canada without sponsorship from Wood is required.
- Technical background is recommended in one or more of the following:
- Electrical & Instrumentation
- Mechanical & Piping
- CSA
- Earthworks (Mine)
