Hours of Work: 40 hours per week; Monday through Friday; (hours will be scheduled between 7:15 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. with start and end times varying depending on Operational needs)
Compensation: $25.95 - $29.76/hr., (Wage Grid #10). Plus, a competitive leave and benefits package after an initial disqualification period
Program & Location: Various sites in Richmond, Surrey, and Vancouver.

**About the Job**:
The Department Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting the Early Care & Learning Centre (ECLC) department at Atira. This position primarily focuses on administrative tasks, data management, and supporting the communication with funders, partners, and ECLC Supervisors. The Department Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring efficient data entry, data cleaning, data analysis as needed, and maintaining accurate records.
They will also oversee document management processes, track deadlines, and manage task follow-ups, ensuring seamless task completion and efficient departmental operations; will undertake various assignments as directed by your manager, which could involve special projects, research, presentations, and assisting in department-specific initiatives. They will be required to adapt to changing priorities and be willing to take on additional responsibilities for the department's overall success.

**Additional Requisites/Assets**:
- Diploma or Certificate in Early Childhood Education (ECE) from a recognized institution, with a valid ECE License to practice in BC. Infant/Toddler and/or Special Needs certification preferred
- Training in office or business administration is an asset
- Valid Emergency Child Care First Aid Certificate that is recognized by Child Care Licensing Regulations
- Ongoing professional development in Childcare leadership or administration is an asset
- One (1) year recent related experience Or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
- Covid-19 and annual flu vaccinations are recommended, unless they become required by BC’s public health authority.
- Legal authorization to work in Canada
