Territory Manager

Brandt is currently seeking a Territory Sales Manager - Construction Equipment for our Cambridge location.
This position is responsible to ensure current customers have the right products and services, they identify new markets and customer leads, and pitch prospective customers on the sale of new and used construction equipment. The sales representative is the face of Brandt to the customer and may do everything from answering phones to monitoring the competition, all the while maintaining good customer relations and pursuing new sales opportunities.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Sell new and used Construction equipment within a designated sales territory
- Focus on sales of new John Deere Heavy Construction Equipment
- Complete all sales documentation in a timely and accurate manner
- Keep current on construction equipment product knowledge related attachments
- Keep current on customers’ business activities and needs
- Develop marketing and promotion strategies for territory with their Manager
- Prepare customer status reports, including but not limited to sales call activity, closing, follow -up, and prospect reports as required
- Other sales duties as assigned

**Required Skills**:
- Strong customer service skills
- Highly motivated and self-directed
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills
- Ability to build relationships and prospect new accounts
Required Experience
- Sales industry experience and/or a comprehensive knowledge of heavy equipment considered an asset
- Must be able to obtain or have a valid passport, and be able to travel internationally
- A recent driver’s abstract will be required
