**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Operate commercial vehicles to transport freight across designated routes.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Handle loading and unloading of freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as necessary.
- Perform basic automotive repairs and maintenance on the vehicle to ensure optimal performance.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while maintaining a high standard of professionalism.

**Qualifications**
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with freight transportation.
- Familiarity with heavy equipment operation, including forklifts.
- Strong knowledge of automotive repair principles and practices is a plus.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
- Ability to pass background checks and comply with all safety regulations.
