**Polish Your Future with Home Hardware**

As a Custodian in our Dealer Support Centre, you will maintain the cleanliness of assigned areas (including washrooms, offices, meeting rooms, etc.) with the use of appropriate materials and equipment to clean and disinfect. Led by the Shift Manager, this opportunity will best suit someone who excels while working independently and is eager to contribute to a safe and organized work environment.

**Shift available**:
Permanent Full Time

Afternoon Shift: Monday - Friday: 3:00pm - 11:00pm

**Ready to make an impact in a new role? Here’s how**:

- Clean the buildings and facilities to ensure that they are maintained in a safe and healthy manner. Clean aisles as required.
- Wash and disinfect all washroom floors, toilets, toilet seats, hand dryers and fixtures, clean all mirrors and replenish toilet tissue and soap as needed.
- Clean, sweep, dust mop, we mop floors and stairways to ensure cleanliness. Wash and buff floors with floor polisher. Sweep and scrub floors using the scrubber/sweeper.
- Maintain storage areas and cleaning equipment, materials and supplies in a safe and orderly manner to ensure the safety of staff and the public.
- Use of compactor and baler.
- Other duties as assigned.

**We’re looking for**:

- Highly reliable with a strong work ethic.
- Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
- Able to perform strenuous physical activities, including bending and lifting.
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Ability to operate scrubber/sweeper or willing to learn.
- Good working knowledge of standard cleaning procedures, chemicals, products, and equipment.
