Position Overview

Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Inspect, maintain, repair, and test RPAS Certified Ground Control Station and simulator systems, including computers, terminals, and networking infrastructure
- Remove and replace line replaceable units and components
- Ensure the accurate completion of technical records
- Perform specialty work in maintenance shops as required
- Interpret technical publications and diagrams
- Maintain tools and equipment required to perform primary duties
- Order aircraft spare parts and materials
- Debrief Team Lead as required
- Carry out workplace inspections and clean ups
- Comply with safety, quality, airworthiness, and technical policies and procedures
- Work shifts on a routine basis and overtime when needed
- Travel for essential training

Mandatory qualifications
- Transport Canada approved Aviation Technician - Avionics Maintenance Diploma or Canadian Forces Avionics (AVS) Technician Qualification
- Possession of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering License with an E rating OR be a Canadian Forces Journeyman Avionics (AVS) Technician
- At least 5 years of first
- and second-line aircraft maintenance related experience
- Proven experience as a team player
- Strong communication skills
- Be able to work shifts
- Possess a valid driver’s license.
- Eligibility to work in Canada either as a Canadian Citizen, a Permanent Resident or with a valid Work Permit
- Capable of obtaining and maintaining both Controlled Goods Clearance and a NATO secret security clearance

Desirable Skills & Experience
- UAV experience is an asset
- Flight simulator maintenance experience is an asset
- Computer networking maintenance experience is an asset
- Canadian Military Airworthiness experience is an asset
