Field Supervisor

**OVERVIEW**

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Three (3) or more years supervisory experience in the Fluid Hauling / Oil Field / Trucking Industry with proven leadership abilities
- Experience leading a team,
- Effective Supervision skills, with a strong focus on operations and business processes
- Able to identify key issues; creatively and strategically overcome internal challenges or obstacles
- Ability to travel into the United States of America, valid Passport Necessary
- Strong understanding of personnel policies, practices, and procedures and other operational issues faced by the organization
- Exceptional communication skills with clients and employees
- Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
- Strong computer skill, specific experience with Microsoft products considered an asset
- Maintains a high level of integrity, confidentially, and accountability
- Sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, and execution skills
- Maintains a well-defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management skills
- Valid Class 1 or Class 3 driver’s license with a clean abstract (previous 5 years) is an asset
- Valid FAST Card is considered an asset
- Possess safety tickets including but not limited to First Aid/CPR, Construction Safety Training (CSTS20), H2S Alive, Fall Protection, Confined Space, and Ground Disturbance Level II is considered an asset
- Must be able to successfully pass a 12-panel drug and alcohol test
- Demonstrate a commitment to environmental compliance and safe work practices
- Ability to work independently while efficiently managing time and productivity

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Manage/supervise all day-to-day on-site processes and activities for Alida's Fluid Hauling Division
- Schedule, plan, and allocate work to employees
- Oversee crews and equipment in assigned areas and provide direction to operators
- Monitor the progress of all jobs until completion
- Foster open and positive client communications and interactions, providing support with preparing proposals and bids
- Fleet management
- Supervise all equipment utilization and ensure operations are being run as efficient and cost-effective as possible
- Ensure that all equipment is in good working condition; ensure all required maintenance work and equipment records or reports are completed within designated timelines
- Review and sign-off on daily logs and tickets
- Monitor daily tickets and billing activity to ensure documents are accurately provided to the accounting department for processing
- Active engagement with dispatch to ensure customer loads are hauled within the required parameters
- Perform various administrative duties, team leadership and supervision, including operating various operational equipment when needed and as directed by your manager and/or management
- Provide strong client satisfaction by always providing exceptional customer service
- Adhere to all safety procedures, policies, protocols, standards, and initiatives; understand and demonstrate the expectations set out within the Vertex policy manual and expectations of the company and clients
- Understand and demonstrate Vertex’s mission, vision, and values; Constantly strive to support Vertex’s achievement of corporate goals and objectives
- Integrity and reliability, willing to accept after hour calls when necessary
- Other duties as directed by your supervisor and/or manager

**LOCATION**

This position will be based out of Alida, SK.
