**Job Overview**
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring an exceptional dining experience. Your primary responsibilities will include greeting guests, managing reservations, and maintaining an efficient flow of seating in the restaurant.

**Duties**:

- Greet guests warmly as they arrive and escort them to their tables.
- Manage reservations and waitlists effectively to optimize seating arrangements.
- Communicate with the kitchen and waitstaff to ensure timely service.
- Answer phone calls with professionalism, providing information about menu items and making reservations.
- Assist guests with inquiries or concerns, ensuring their needs are met promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance guest satisfaction and service quality.

**Skills**:

- Strong guest services skills with a focus on hospitality and customer satisfaction.
- Excellent phone etiquette for handling reservations and inquiries.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with guests and team members.
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus, enhancing efficiency in managing orders and payments.
- A helpful attitude, ready to assist guests in any way possible while maintaining a positive demeanor.
