Your Role

As a **Veterinary Technician**, you'll play a key role in patient care, surgery, diagnostics, and client communication. Responsibilities include:

- Assisting in examinations, surgeries, diagnostics, and emergency procedures
- Monitoring anesthesia, administering medications, and performing lab tests
- Supporting clients through treatment plans and patient education
- Maintaining inventory and daily clinical operations
- Working with both cats and dogs in preventive and advanced medical care

**Qualifications**:

- **Graduation from an accredited Veterinary Technician program** (required)
- **1+ year of clinical experience** preferred (but new grads are welcome)
- Skilled in diagnostics, patient monitoring, and handling animals with care
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Passion for animals and a team-oriented attitude

Veterinary Technicians may be eligible for **British Columbia's Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP)**, which supports immigration for in-demand roles like veterinary technicians (NOC 32104).

BC PNP Veterinary Care Stream:

- Requires a **valid job offer**, **Accredited certification**, and **language proficiency**

Pay: $28.00-$34.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 - 40 per week
