At Lakehead Overhead Door we are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Garage Door Installer to join our growing team.

**What You'll Do**

As part of Lakehead Overhead Door, you will be apart of a very important team as Garage Door Installer. You will get to:

- Install and assemble various components according to blueprints and schematics
- Use hand tools and power tools to complete installation tasks
- Measure and cut materials to fit specifications
- Ensure proper alignment and positioning of installed components
- Test installed systems for functionality and make necessary adjustments
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, and low voltage electrical issues
- Conduct inspections to identify potential problems and recommend solutions
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area

**Who You Are**
- Previous experience in construction or a related field
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of electrical systems and components
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $28.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 45 per week

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

**Experience**:

- Construction: 1 year (preferred)

- Class G Licence (required)

Willingness to travel:

- 50% (preferred)
