The demand for **house cleaning**in Ottawa is at an ultimate high among seniors living at home. This is ideal for **retired and semi-retired individuals** looking to put their time towards purposeful work by helping to make a difference in the lives of seniors, while also providing loved ones much-needed respite & peace of mind.

**Light Cleaning: -**Regular weekly or bi-weekly home maintenance which may include: vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, wiping down/sanitizing countertops and sinks in kitchen and bathroom, wiping down toilets, cleaning mirrors, emptying waste baskets, making beds/changing linens.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Previous **house cleaning** experience
- Asset: Previous employed, volunteer, or personal experience with **assisting seniors, providing home care or caregiving services**, or working with the senior population in other capacities
- Flexible **weekday availability**. Weekend opportunities also available.
- Strong work ethic, compassionate, reliable, punctual, good time management, efficient, strong attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills (fluent in English)
- **Vulnerable Sector Check** (12 months old or less, or otherwise willing to obtain)
- At least **2 professional references** (who can vouch for your skills, abilities, and previous work experience)

**SENIORS ON SITE**:
**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $27.00 per hour

**Benefits**:

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

**Experience**:

- cleaning: 1 year (preferred)
- senior assistance / senior care: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:
