**Key Responsibilities**:
**_Financial & Sales Analysis _**
- Conduct analysis of financial statements to identify trends, recommend solutions, and support decision-making
- Develop and present financial plans, forecasts, and reports to senior management using computer modeling tools such as spreadsheets
- Analyze gross margins by division, category, and item and compare to what has been forecasted
- Conduct research on economic indicators and market trends while monitoring competitor activity
- Identify opportunities to reduce costs by recommending process improvements

**_Inventory Management _**
- Monitor and track inventory levels, analyzing trends to forecast future needs
- Prepare reports on inventory levels, trends, and forecasts for senior management
- Review and reconcile invoices and purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policy
- Evaluate and procure enough inventory for large promotional activities, and high velocity items
- Act as the liaison between Finance, Research & Development, and Sales teams
- Collaborate with the Warehouse team to coordinate flow of goods
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods and services
- Identify opportunities to streamline inventory management processes
- Resolve discrepancies between physical and inventory and records and investigate and resolve issues with damaged or missing inventory
- Recommend changes to current inventory policies and procedures

**_Other_**
- Generate Ad hoc reports as requested
- Undertake related duties as assigned to achieve the company objectives and goals

**Qualifications**:

- College diploma or university degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- Three (3) years of financial analysis experience
- ERP experience required
- Experience in inventory management, purchasing, and supply chain preferred
- Experience working with freight forwarders considered an asset
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office
- Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge (VLOOPUPS, Pivot Tables, IF Statements, Macros)
- Experience managing a large volume of data
- Analytical and highly motivated self-starter
- Detail oriented problem solver
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced ever-changing environment

This is a full-time permanent role working 40 hours a week on-site. Our hours of operation are 8:15am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday.
