College Massage Therapy Outreach Supervisor

**Responsibilities For Outreach Supervisors**:
Monitor the daily patient schedule during outreach, note any alterations on the schedule.
Ensure Outreach supplies are brought to the location.
Ensure each student adequately cleans and sanitizes their treatment area and all equipment used.
Assist students with any concerns relating to: patient charting, health history intake, assessment, treatment concerns, remedial exercise suggestions, patient charting, ethical concerns, any other concerns relating to the therapist-patient relationship and interactions.
Work with the Outreach Coordinator to ensure each Outreach runs smoothly.
Assist students with patient charting in Noterro as needed. Encourage students to complete notes prior the end of each Outreach. Finalize notes. Provide students with feedback regarding their patient notes.
Help students tidy the area at the end of each Outreach.
Communicate with the Massage Therapy Outreach Coordinator should a problem pertaining to a patient arise during or after an Outreach (ie. A patient feels ill and must leave prior to the end of their appointment, a student feels ill and must leave prior to the end of the Outreach, a patient or student is acting inappropriately)
Should an “emergency” type of incident occur during the Outreach, they are responsible for calling 911 if need be. They are required to fill out an incident report, and that they are responsible for communicating this to both the Outreach Coordinator and the Director of Academics.
Ensure students are dressed appropriately for the Outreach according to the student clinic dress code policy.
Enforce policies and procedures as outlined in the Student Clinic Policy and Procedure Manual.
Evaluation of Student Clinical Competencies
Maintain current certification in Standard First Aid and CPR level HCP
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 1 - 10 per week
