Regina Airport Authority requires a Terminal Operations Officer to be responsible for performing a wide range of duties in support of and contributing to the efficiency of terminal operations. The position is responsible for monitoring, inspecting, and hands on support of terminal, facilities, parking lot, ground transportation, and apron operations. Provides for and facilitates operational, customer service, and tenant issue resolutions to ongoing concerns. Develops and maintains terminal operations documentation and coordinates airport gate scheduling program. Ensures compliance with airport regulations, policies and procedures to provide for the safe, secure, and efficient operations of the airport.

**Hours**

Normal hours of work are performed between the hours of 7:00 am and 5:00 pm Monday to Friday inclusive. Actual scheduled hours will be assigned by your manager.

**Rate of Pay**

As per the collective agreement:

- Band: 6
- Rate of Pay: $39.48 per hour

**Responsibilities**
- While promoting safety and security awareness, perform all duties with an ownership attitude in compliance with corporate policies and procedures.
- Responsible for providing customer service excellence through daily security, operations and facilities systems monitoring and issue resolution, interaction and communication with staff, tenants, passengers, and stakeholders.
- Perform all duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with the companies Mission, Vision and Corporate Values.
- Assist with ensuring appropriate response procedures are carried out in the event of an emergency.
- Coordinate and assign the use of gates, bridges, and aircraft parking stands through conducting gate scheduling meetings and populating Vortex gate scheduling software.
- Monitor and support apron operations including implementation and enforcement of the Apron Management Plan.
- Monitor and support site parking lot functions and systems, ground transportation service operations, and enforce all associated policies, processes, and procedures.
- Responsible for providing customer service excellence through daily operations and facilities systems monitoring and issue resolution, interaction and communication with staff, tenants, passengers, and stakeholders.
- Recommend and undertake initiatives for operational and customer service improvements and efficiencies. Monitor and review closed circuit television (CCTV) coverage.
- Participate in manual reviews, policies, procedures, and circulars.
- Proactively monitor and adjust pre-board screening queue line stanchions, ATB furniture and signage to ensure operational efficiency and a positive customer service experience.
- Attend operational meetings and record and distribute meeting minutes.
- Serve as an auditor in the execution of Quality Assurance internal audits.
- Support and facilitate third party contractors and service providers.
- Administer training programs
- Other duties related to terminal building, apron and tenant operations.
- Utilization and support of Vortex software programs

**Requirements**:

- A post-secondary education in airport operations or a minimum 3-5 years relevant airport experience. Equivalent combination of education and experience would be considered.
- Knowledge and understanding of terminal operational and facilities policies, process, and procedures.
- A working knowledge of regulations governing airline and airport operations.
- Ability to assess situations and recommend timely and appropriate courses of action.
- Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills to professionally manage a multitude of tasks in a customer focused environment.
- Ability to grow and maintain positive professional relationships with corporate departments, key business partners and team members.
- Capable of performing within a transparent work environment where collaborative relationships are encouraged, and varied opinions are respected.
- Awareness and commitment to a healthy and safe working environment.
- Demonstrated ability to have a positive impact on business results.
- Critical and logical thinking skills, analysis, and/or reasoning to identify underlying principles, reasons, or facts.

- Possession of a valid Class 5 driver’s license.
- Ability to secure a clear National Criminal Record through the internal pre-employment background screening process.
- Ability to obtain a Transportation Security Clearance, Airside Vehicle Operators Permit (AVOP-DA) and a Radio Operators Certificate within six months of hire.
