**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Current or pending registration with the Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists.
- Graduate of a recognized Cardiology Technology program.
- Three years related clinical experience working as an ECG Technician in the past five years in a similar hospital environment.
- Current CPR.
- Demonstrated ability to perform electrocardiograms on patients of all ages (adult, paediatric and infant).
- Demonstrated ability to perform cardiac stress tests and nuclear cardiology stress tests.
Applies knowledge, skills, judgment and competencies required for safe, independent and inter-disciplinary practice by meeting professional practice standards as outlined by the Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologist and related professional associations.
- Applies Niagara Health values and professional practice standards to patient/client care and service.
- Integrates reflection, critical thinking, education and relevant practical experience in problem solving.
- Working knowledge of computers.
- Consistent and regular attendance required. o Proficiency in both official languages (English & French) will be considered an asset.
- Vaccines (COVID-19 and others) are a requirement of the job unless you have an exemption based on medical or on a ground pursuant to the Ontario Human Rights Code.
