**_ Day in the Life of a Sales Planning Manager:_**:
In this role, you will own demand planning, and flow planning/allocation, for a portfolio of brands across multiple categories and will utilize global milestone schedules to ensure that projects are delivered to market on time to support our brand and sales initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:_**
- Work closely with Marketing to identify items to be forecasted against established financial budgets and goals at the brand level. Convert annual forecasts into phased monthly forecasts based on season of introduction as well as promotional plans.
- Maintain the phased consensus forecast and goal at the planning SKU level in ERP (DP) on a rolling 12-18-month basis
- Maintain WWFF (worldwide forecast files) and WWDP (worldwide demand plans) to define our phased wave/component requirements
- Identify supply chain issues and drive resolution. Work with Brand, Sales and global partners to manage short
- and long-term supply issues, pursuing alternate sources of supply where possible
- Work closely with Project Management and Hasbro partners to ensure that new product development schedules are adhered to, and new product introductions are delivered to market on time.
- Review the Global Milestone system regularly to identify items that require closer attention or action and keep our marketing and commercial partners appraised of schedule delays
- Manage exclusives launches as well as pallet and promotional opportunities and builds
- Manage allocation by account through the issuing and maintenance of flow plans where demand outstrips supply, or if promotional plans must be protected, down to the wave/assortment/receipt date level.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Sales to manage the end of life of an item or brand, as well as any material exposure domestically or in the orient
- Act as the point person in communications between Sales, Sales Administration, Marketing, Quality, Project Management, HFE, Logistics, HSA and Central Planning to address issues in a timely fashion and drive resolution
- Provide insight to drive improvements in forecast accuracy, as well as facilitating and driving continuous improvement of the S&OP process
- Ensure compliance with both global and regional forecast calendars
- Lead, coach and mentor a small team

**_ What you’ll bring:_**:
- 8+ years progressive work experience in inventory management, for a consumer product, globally sourced, manufacturing environment
- Post-secondary education in a relevant discipline
- Experience leading a small team
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a customer-service focus
- Able to work under pressure in an extremely fast paced environment with tight deadlines
