Collingwood, Canada Peakminds Psychology Services Full time

Peakminds Psychology Practice is seeking an experienced Registered Master's Level Social Worker (MSw, RSW) who is tech-savvy and comfortable providing virtual counselling services. This is an INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR position.

Our practice provides counselling and psychotherapy for adults (16+).
**Duties/Responsibilities**:

- Conduct initial assessments, formulate treatment plans, and provide feedback to clients.
- Provide individual and couples counselling/psychotherapy through various methods (face-to-face, video and phone).
- Create and maintain progress notes, reports and any other written material required for each client in a timely manner (according to your regulatory college standards).
- Deliver evidence-based treatment services within declared competencies/populations.
- Monitor client progress using clinical measures.
- Meet with the Clinical Director for regular supervision.
- Ensure confidentiality and professionalism are maintained with the utmost respect.
- Show ongoing commitment to professional development and competency building.
- Support the practice with other tasks as required.

**Qualifications**:

- Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling or other related health field.
- Minimum of 3 years clinical experience.
- Strong experience in assessing and treating a wide range of mental health concerns (including, but not limited to, anxiety disorders, depression, stress, trauma/PTSD and OCD).
- Post-graduate training in Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is required.
- Although other forms of therapy may be integrated into your treatment plan, the clinician is expected to use CBT on a regular basis in their work with clients.
- Experience and/or training with couples counselling would be considered an asset.
- Trauma-informed practice/experience/training would be considered an asset.
- Professional liability insurance coverage of $2,000,000.
- Be a member, in good standing, with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) or Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW).
- Valid Criminal Records Check and Vulnerable Sector Screening (within the past year).
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfort with practice management software and video counselling technology.
- Excellent client service skills.
