Escarpment Construction is a growing asphalt and concrete company serving the Hamilton/Brantford region. We specialize in driveways, curbs, parking lots, and commercial/residential paving projects. Position Overview

**Responsibilities**:

- Monitor paving operation to maintain a consistent flow of material and smooth, even surface
- Coordinate with rakers, roller operators, and other crew members to achieve proper compaction and finish
- Inspect equipment daily and perform basic maintenance (greasing, cleaning, checking fluids, etc.)
- Communicate effectively with the paving crew and site supervisor to complete projects on schedule
- Follow all company and site-specific safety procedures

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 10 years of experience operating asphalt paver/spreader equipment
- Knowledge of asphalt paving procedures, grades, and slope control
- Ability to read site layouts, grades, and job specifications
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Physically capable of working long hours outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites
- Experience with other paving/construction equipment (rollers, skid steers, etc.) is an asset

Schedule
- Full-time, Monday to Friday (occasional weekends as needed)
- Seasonal position with potential winter work in snow management

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 8 months

Pay: $40.00-$50.00 per hour
