**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Assist physiotherapists in implementing treatment plans for patients recovering from injuries or surgeries.
- Prepare treatment areas and ensure all necessary equipment is clean and ready for use.
- Help patients with exercises and mobility tasks, providing guidance and encouragement.
- Monitor patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the supervising physiotherapist.
- Maintain accurate patient records, documenting treatments administered and patient responses.
- Educate patients on home exercise programs and self-care techniques as directed by the physiotherapist.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and hospital policies during all interactions with patients.
- Administrative duties such as booking patient, billing, answering phones etc

**Experience**
- Previous experience in an acute care environment or hospital setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with medical terminology is essential for effective communication within the healthcare team.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals.
- A background in patient care, including assisting individuals with mobility challenges, is highly desirable.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and learning within the field of physiotherapy.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
