As we prepare for the upcoming snow season, we’re looking to expand our team with skilled and dependable **Class 1 and Class 3 Drivers** to help keep our clients’ sites clear and safe.

**Position Overview**:As a **Class 1 or 3 Driver**, you’ll be responsible for operating a variety of snow removal equipment—including plow trucks, sanding trucks, and other heavy vehicles—to ensure our clients’ roads, lots, and access areas remain open and safe during winter conditions. This is a **seasonal, on-call position**, requiring availability during and after snow events, including **nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays**.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Operate heavy duty end dump trucks for the purpose of hauling snow.
- Operate plow and sanding trucks to remove snow and ice from commercial properties, roadways, and industrial yards.
- Ensure snow is properly placed and all travel lanes, entrances, and fire routes remain clear.
- Conduct pre
- and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment, reporting any issues promptly.
- Communicate with dispatch and site supervisors for coordinated operations.
- Maintain accurate driving logs and reports
- Follow all safety protocols and site-specific guidelines.
- Maintain compliance with Workplace Safety and Health regulations at all times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Valid **Class 1 or Class 3 Driver’s Licence** with clean abstract (required).
- Minimum **1-2 years of experience** operating plow, sanding, or other heavy trucks.
- Strong understanding of safe winter driving and equipment operation.
- Ability to work flexible, on-call hours during snowfalls and storms.
- Reliable transportation to dispatch locations.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in challenging conditions.
- Basic mechanical knowledge considered an asset.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

**Assets (Preferred but Not Required)**:

- Previous experience in snow removal operations or municipal work.
- Mechanical aptitude for minor troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with operating loaders or other heavy equipment.
