Roles and responsibilities

Reporting to the Leadership Team.

Essentially you will
- Assist employees with Human Resources inquiries
- Develop, maintain and update company policies and procedures
- Coordinate new hire orientation and onboarding
- Coordinate culture events and initiatives
- Maintain employee files, including documentation of reviews, disciplinary plans, changes and dismissals
- Manage all WCB and WSIB claims and document any workplace incidents
- Assist with RRSP plans per individual company policy
- Track employee vacation, sick, discretionary, and banked time per individual company policy
- Maintain job descriptions and update as necessary
- Support HR initiatives sponsored by the Leadership Teams
- Coordinate staff trainings
- Administration of salary increases/changes
- Assist with payroll and payroll related updates
- Coordinate and assist with individual company’s benefits programs
- Ensure all guidelines towards the implementation of Health and Safety practices are up to date and facilitate the quarterly Health and Safety committee meetings
- Coordinate with department managers in the development of employee reviews and goal setting
- Updating job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations
- Monitor office main telephone lines
- Monitor office supplies and place orders as needed
- Assist in vendor relationship management for office purchases
- Coordinate office cleaning
- Manage staff parking and coordinate with landlord
- Coordinate with service providers for office and building related repairs

**Requirements**:

- A degree/diploma or certificate in Human Resources
- Minimum 3 year’s experience in Human Resources
- Eagerness to learn and grow
- Positive attitude

How to apply

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 13 months

Pay: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
