**Operations Specialist**

Kent Line Ltd is a well-established Canadian based agency that provides customers with Marine Transportation Service solutions tailored to meet the specific needs of their clients. **The Key Focus** of the role is to provide excellent customer service while working with a small team whose focus is on all marine operations, and administrative functions associated with individual vessel calls to assigned port of operations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Drive a safety-first culture.
- Identify and implement process improvement.
- Coordinate with marine vessels to ensure that all pre-arrival information is received.
- Work closely with customers and vendors to ensure that all marine operations run smoothly.
- Foster an environment of continuous improvement.
- Assist with billing procedures, follow-up, and completion of requests
- Exercise high quality vendor service management and cost control

**Qualifications**:

- University Degree or equivalency
- Excellent organizational, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to balance multiple priorities in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, which includes evenings, weekends and other as required.
- Previous experience in the marine agency field would be considered an asset.
