UCSH is looking for a full time Forklift Operator position. This is an on-site position in our Port Coquitlam location.

**WHAT’S THE JOB ABOUT?**

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Forklift Operator position is responsible to moving various skids of doors and hardware to assist the Shipper/Receiver in completing their tasks in a more efficient manner. In addition, the Forklift Operator also requires to maintain the cleanliness of the floor and warehouse areas.

Some of the work you will do, but not limited to:

- Moving, staging, re-skidding various sizes of doors using forklifts
- Pile listing/marking door numbers down and giving a bay location, communicate with putting location into our shop drawings locations
- Matching up specific doors sizes & quantities as doors come in from being painted or to either go out to get painted and prefinished
- Assist in preparation of outgoing shipments
- Loading of outgoing delivery trucks
- Offloading incoming shipments and deliveries
- Assist in breaking down and labeling of shipments in preparation of material management
- General warehouse duties include floor & area cleaning, sweeping, door & hardware re-skidding, door carting, door flipping, etc.
- Other duties as assigned

**WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE LIKE YOU WHO HAS**:

- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and physically fit to do labour intensive work
- Must be comfortable using both stand up and sit down forklifts
- Good communication skills
- Good problem solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong organizational and time management skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
