RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Represent our radio station in a positive fashion at all community events and festivals
- Maximize the station’s on-site presence by setting up banners, event signage, remote booth, tent, etc.
- Create exciting content for multiple social media accounts (Facebook, X, Instagram)
- Take initiative by approaching people and mingling with crowds at all events
- Hand out station swag and client sponsor samples at events
- Perform live cut-ins on-air and emcee duties from various community events as needed
- Have a passion for the music we play and/or a willingness to embrace the formats
- Keep the station vehicle clean and presentable at all times throughout the summer

Evening and weekend work is absolutely expected and required including statutory holidays

QUALIFICATIONS:
Valid Nova Scotia driver's license with a clean driving record (no infractions or convictions)
- Currently enrolled in a marketing/ public relations/ tourism program is an asset
- An outgoing personality is a MUST
- Comfortable with creating content for the radio as well as being on-air
- Ability to work well as a team member and independently with mínimal supervision

This position runs from Wednesday to Sunday
