**STUDIO HOUDINI FX TD**
As Houdini TD, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving the internal pipeline by working closely with the Pipeline and FX departments to ensure a common and standardized approach to workflows, tool development and support.
**Requirements**:
- 4+years experience of working in Animation & or VFX industry
- Solid understanding of visual effects and/or animation pipelines and workflows
- Proven experience writing pipeline tools and modifying workflows
- Experience working with and troubleshooting in Houdini
- Excellent knowledge of Python
- Experience with Arnold and it’s file formats preferred
- Experience with Solaris/USD a strong plus
- Experience with TOPs/PDG a strong plus
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Must be comfortable working as a part of a team as well as capable of managing your time independently if needed
**Responsibilities**:
- Create and maintain tools for Houdini via Python scripts and HDAs
- Creating, testing and implementing new features
- Providing support and maintenance to Houdini artists in the studio
- Manage efforts in alignment with priorities identified by the Pipeline and FX teams
- Develop and maintain documentation for new and modified tools/systems
- Work directly with Artists and Supervisors to investigate and resolve urgent pipeline issues encountered in production
