**Summary**:
Working with the Fleet Manager and site Foreman, the Hydrovac Truck Operator is responsible for the successful completion of hydro-excavation projects, including underground utility line exposure, slot trenching, and soft digging.

**Job Duties Responsibilities**:

- Operate a Hydrovac Truck safely as per standard operating procedures
- Complete hydro-excavation projects, including underground utility line exposure, slot trenching, and soft digging
- Perform inspections, complete equipment maintenance tasks, and check equipment daily
- Keep equipment and vehicles clean and in safe/working order
- Load and unload equipment in a safe manner
- Report any accidents, damage, or defects immediately and work in a safe manner
- Maintain a clean and safe environment
- Comply with all policies, procedures, and safety regulations
- Other duties as assigned

**Requirements**:

- 1-2 years’ experience operating a Hydrovac Truck is considered an asset
- Must have a valid Class 1 or 3 driver’s license with air brakes
- Able to maneuver a hydrovac truck in tight spaces
- Experience working with underground utilities is considered an asset
- Ability to read locate maps and constructions plans considered an asset
- Physically capable of performing the duties of the position; standing, sitting, lifting, etc. for long periods of time
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Safety-first attitude
- Provide: must have hard hat, high visibility vest, CSA approved steel-toed safety boots/shoes

Pay: $26.00-$30.00 per hour
