Lane Closure Technician

**Job Overview**

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Traffic Control Operations**: Set up and manage lane closures, detours, and work zones in compliance with safety standards.
- **Team Support**: Work alongside the drill team as needed, providing support with traffic control duties and assisting with light physical labour on site.
- **Truck Operation**: Operate and maintain traffic control vehicles and equipment.
- **Job Set-Up**: Hands-on setup including placing signs, cones, and barricades.
- **Client Communication**: Liaise with clients to understand needs and ensure safe, effective setups.
- **Safety Compliance**: Ensure all traffic control setups meet local and federal safety requirements.
- **Plan Development**: experience with creating Traffic Management Plans (TMPs) using Invarion / Rapid Plan software and strong knowledge of MOTI regulations is preferred
- **Adaptability**: Hours will vary depending on project schedules and site requirements.

**Qualifications**
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Current traffic control certifications (TCP, Flagging, or equivalent).
- Strong physical fitness with the ability to perform manual labour and move heavy equipment (e.g., signs, barricades).
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience in traffic control for at least 3 years
- Familiarity with creating TMPs is an asset
- Rates depend on experience

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 50 per week
