**Job Supervisor**

The **QA Supervisor** is responsible for supervising Quality Control and Quality Assurance in all aspects of production; ensures compliance to Company procedures and standards in relation to Safety and conformance to general company practices and procedures.

**Job brief**
- Ensures that accurate record and report data from all analyses and tests is produced in the prescribed timeframe
- Forms and maintains statistical records in accordance with all working procedures
- Carries out routine tasks accurately and following strict methodologies to carry out analyses
- Effectively troubleshoots and resolves any issues
- Maintains Laboratory throughput levels to standard
- Conducts regular performance appraisals
- Records and interprets results to present to Management
- Follows and ensures strict safety procedures and safety checks
- Makes detailed observations; analyzes data, and interprets results
- Write reports, summaries, and protocols regarding experiments
- Prepares and sends samples for third party analysis
- Communicates with Suppliers and other third parties as required
- Monitors integrity of in-coming ingredients
- Conducts GMP and Allergen training for new employee orientation
- Able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, customer-focused environment.
- Able to comply with all relevant safety policies and procedures.
- Able to effectively communicate and work with CFIA onsite
- Able to handle back up to QA Manager responsibilities when needed
- Able to work in production when needed

- Job Type: Permanent Full-time
- Probationary Period: 3-months
- Work Location: 7050 Telford Way, Mississauga, ON L5S 1V7
- Shift Requirement: Must be flexible to work mornings and afternoons, including weekends.
- Benefits: Group Benefits entitlement upon completion of probation time
**_Qualifications: _**
- 5-6 years’ experience in a food production environment with at least 1 year of experience in a supervisory capacity.
- Excellent knowledge of HACCP, CFIA, GFSI system standards
- CFIA experience and SQFP Prefer
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and guidelines
- Degree/Diploma in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related field of study
- Shows initiative and able to work as part of a team and resolve differences effectively
- Excellent organization, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects / tasks in a fast-paced production environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
- Ability to communicate in English orally and in writing with coworkers, regulatory officials, management, and different levels of the organization

**Salary**: $56,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Mississauga, ON L5S 1V7: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
**Experience**:
