Island Health’s Department of Emergency Medicine is looking for Emergency Medicine physicians to provide temporary and locum services at Nanaimo Regional General Hospital located in the ocean front community of Nanaimo, BC.

The Nanaimo Emergency Physicians Association provides emergency and trauma team leadership services in the busiest emergency department on Vancouver Island in a new, state-of-the-art department. The Nanaimo emergency department is a referral center for the central Vancouver Island catchment area with an annual census of 70,000 patient visits and has back-up from all of major specialties.

Educational facilities range from elementary through to Vancouver Island University with full degree and vocational programs.
