- We are looking for a _**Formulation Team Lead **_to join our growing team._

**Job Summary**
- **Job Duties**:_
- Lead daily huddle meetings, set goals, delegate tasks, and track team
- Organize tasks based on production schedules, resolve or escalate production problems, and ensure high-quality, on-time delivery.
- Communicate regularly with the team about responsibilities, goals and production issues.
- Provide updates to supervisors on production performance and personnel issues.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area, promote 5s, and ensure adherence to processes
- Train team members on processes, coach performance, and provide feedback.
- Assess workload, allocate labor efficiently, and manage shift priorities to meet KPIs
- Prepare materials, job assignments, and production lineup.
- Address material shortages, machine issues, and safety concerns, and escalate as needed.
- Ensure accurate inventory tracking, documentation, and reporting.
- Update the next shift with important information for smooth transition and success.
- Identify challenges, improve processes, and ensure productivity goals are met.
- Facilitate teamwork, coach employee performance and implement or escalate team suggestions
- Assess workstation capacity, maximize labour usage, and ensure all customer requirements are met
- Ensure smooth shift transition by sharing critical information with the next shift and shutting down equipment at the end of the shift.
- Ensure safe work practices and equipment use and proper PPE as well as meeting the safety, quality and production targets
- Address any unsafe conditions or issues.
- **Required Knowledge/Qualifications**:_
- 1 - 3 years previous lead hand experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
- 1 year of previous formulation experience is preferred
- Previous TDG & Forklift experience is an asset
- Previous experience handling chemicals considered an asset
- Safety, Quality and continuous improvement oriented
- Basic math, communication & problem-solving skills
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Must be able to lead a multicultural team effectively
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, product, and components
- Strong attention to detail and exhibits responsiveness in time-sensitive situations
- Must be self-motivated and committed to the attainment of area/site goals
- Must be able to work intermittent afternoon shifts for holiday coverage
- **Working Conditions**:_
- Manual dexterity to work with tankers, pumps and other associated equipment
- Able to lift at least 50 lbs
- Overtime as required
- Able to identify any health and safety issues
- Work in a fast-paced environment
