RESPONSIBLITIES - Ensures aggressive "guest first" attitude among team members and provides a friendly guest contact experience. - Manage a team of handymen ensuring each individual is in tune with the companies standards. Train new handymen, maintain schedules and keep track of individual performance. - Ensures good safety practices of employees and guests throughout the hotel, assisting in the maintenance of proper emergency and security procedures. - Ensures proper installation, repair, and maintenance of all equipment and plumbing, i.e.; boiler, heaters, water filters, etc. - Ensures maintenance and repair of all finished surfaces in the hotel. - Oversees installation and maintenance of air conditioning units, system, and chiller operations. - Ensures that all filters throughout the hotel are changed as scheduled. - Responding in a courteous manner to guest questions, complaints, or requests. - Locating and correcting in-room heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC) malfunctions, and adjusting HVAC units to include systems control checks. - Handling all in-house repairs in regards to removing and replacing bathroom tile, painting, repairing wallboard, wall vinyl, carpentry, etc. - Checks electrical systems such as refrigeration controls, television sets, and lighting systems, and makes minor repairs. - Does elementary painting and finishing of furniture and structure. - Checks and makes minor repairs on general plumbing systems, and fixtures such as pipelines, toilets, and sinks. - Ability to multi-task under pressure, conduct detailed Inspections, basic HVAC repairs and Cleaning, basic plumbing repair, professional painting and drywall patching, furniture assembly, scheduling deliveries, purchase orders, stock Inventory, wifi networks and security systems **REQUIREMENTS**: - Driver License - Minimum 5 years of professional experience in handyman or maintenance related jobs **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent **Salary**: $25.00-$35.00 per hour **Benefits**: - Casual dress - Company events - Dental care - Extended health care - On-site parking - Vision care Flexible Language Requirement: - French not required Schedule: - Day shift Supplemental pay types: - Bonus pay - Overtime pay Work Location: In person
