With rapid growth and exciting new projects on the horizon, we’re looking for a hands-on, detail-driven **Shop Foreman** to lead our production team and keep our shop running smoothly.

**Position Overview**:
The Millwork Shop Foreman is responsible for coordinating all shop-floor activities, ensuring projects move efficiently from drafting to production to installation. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and a deep understanding of custom millwork production. You’ll work closely with drafting, project management, and installation teams to ensure timelines are met, quality standards are upheld, and the shop operates safely and effectively.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead, organize, and supervise daily shop operations and production staff.
- Coordinate workflow to ensure millwork is fabricated accurately, efficiently, and on schedule.
- Review architectural and millwork drawings to guide fabrication and resolve technical questions.
- Work closely with project managers, drafters, and installers to maintain clear communication and smooth project flow.
- Monitor production progress, identify bottlenecks early, and adjust schedules as needed.
- Maintain quality control throughout the fabrication process.
- Manage materials, hardware, and inventory to ensure timely production.
- Support and mentor junior team members, promoting a culture of safety and craftsmanship.
- Participate in site visits and meetings as required to clarify scope or resolve technical issues.
- Ensure shop documentation, notes, and production details are accurate and up to date.

**Qualifications**:

- 5+ years of experience in millwork fabrication, cabinetmaking, or a related woodworking/production role.
- Strong ability to read and interpret architectural and millwork shop drawings.
- Hands-on experience with millwork machinery, tools, and construction methods.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with production scheduling, workflow planning, and project coordination is an asset.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Microvellum, or other drafting/production software is a plus.
- Knowledge of custom cabinetry, finishes, hardware, and fabrication processes.
