**True North Sports + Entertainment is looking for a dependable Individual to join our team.**

The **Line Cook**will be responsible for preparing safe, nutritious and appetizing food while delivering superior service at hockey for all centre.

**What to be excited for in this role**:

- Practice strict safety and sanitation to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Prepare food items for clients and guests using quality methods in a timely manner.
- Assisting Chef with the preparation, production and plating of all meals promptly.
- Supporting kitchen staff including performing prep work, cleaning and dish washing.
- Communicate effectively with Chef & clients and be able to follow instructions and recipes.
- Construct appropriate and creative buffet lines to maximize guest flow & satisfaction.
- Prepare and execute catering functions, and ability to communicate with Front of House staff and Managers.
- Good knowledge of creating omelets and breakfast items using nutritious and effective methods.

**What we need from you**:

- Have minimum 2 year’s experience as a Kitchen line cook executing line service, both restaurant and buffet.
- Must have a valid Certified Food Handler certificate.
- Must be personable, maintain a professional disposition and dress hygienically in accordance with policy.
- Possess a passion for providing attentive & exceptional customer service.
- Adhere to all policies outlined by True North Sports + Entertainment.
- As hockey for all centre is not on a Winnipeg Transit bus route, must have a means of transportation.
