In this position, you will provide support to a team of Junior Kindergarten teachers and students within the school day, as well as lead our after-school care program for our young learners. **Hours of work: 9:45am - 5:45pm daily**

**Responsibilities**:

- Work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team of early childhood educators
- Support ECE students in a variety of activities that facilitate a play-based approach to learning
- Support individual children as required
- Plan and implement an after school care program for young girls
- Supervise children at lunch and at play outside
- Take initiative to seek out tasks
- Prepare instructional materials and classroom visual displays
- Ensure space is set-up for learning and left clean and organized
- Participate in school events such as Sports Day and ECE concerts

**Qualifications**:

- Early Childhood Educator Certificate or Diploma
- Demonstrated experience as an early childhood educator an asset
- Awareness of the learning styles of young girls
- Proven ability to work collaboratively
- Capacity to be creative, flexible, and patient
- Strong communication skills
- Dedicated attention to the care and safety of young children
- Commitment to the integration of school routines and learning in a childcare setting
- Highly organised with attention to detail

**Employment and Application Details**:
This role starts on August 25, 2025.

Compensation: Annual salary $50,000 - $52,000
