**Job Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Owner Operator Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting freight safely and efficiently while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. As an Owner Operator, you will manage your own vehicle and operate independently, making timely deliveries and maintaining high standards of service.

**Responsibilities**
- Operate heavy equipment and commercial vehicles to transport freight to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo, utilizing forklifts and other equipment as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours worked, mileage, and fuel consumption.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Perform routine automotive repairs and maintenance on the vehicle to ensure optimal performance.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies while on the road.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle class.
- Strong skills in heavy equipment operation and forklift handling.
- Knowledge of freight transportation regulations and best practices.
- Basic automotive repair skills are preferred to maintain the vehicle in good working condition.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines consistently.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
