Job Description

This is a work from home position and you must have your own equipment. We provide online training for this position with ample support provided by our friendly and helpful supervisors.

**GENERAL DESCRIPTION**

Working with the Leger team, a remote research interviewer is an on-call employee whose main duty is to complete telephone interviews on a variety of themes according to Leger’s projects.

**REQUIREMENTS**

Flexibility: Evenings and some weekend work required.

Experience: Call centre or customer service experience an asset.

Setting : Have a dedicated space in your home which to conduct surveys without background interference.

Equipment : Cell Phone/Ear phones/buds with built in microphone, Computer (Windows 10 preferred), Sufficient internet speed of at least 5 megabits per second.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

Reaching individuals selected from a pre-established sample by phone. Our Dialer automatically makes those calls and therefore your personal cell number is not displayed and no charges are ever attached to your phone in anyway.

Convincing the greatest number of pre-selected individuals to complete the survey

Verbatim reading of the wording of pre-established questions and the response choices displayed on screen

Recording responses provided by respondents into the database byway of your computer

Entering textual information of open-ended questions accurately and paying special attention to spelling and syntax to support accurate coding of responses

Communicating with co-workers/supervisory staff using Microsoft Teams

**SKILL SET**

Excellent written and oral communication skills (English)

Information technology: comfortable with computers (typing speed & keyboard accuracy)

Dynamic and comfortable with the public

**PERSONAL QUALITIES**

Adaptable - Courteous - Patient - Positive attitude - Excellent listening skills - Attention to detail - Persuasive - Solid interpersonal skills - Meticulous and reliable.

Minimum hours: 18 per week and you can choose more if you want.
