Reporting into our Chief Technology Officer, The VP, Enterprise Architecture owns the architectural design for the organization, using knowledge and experience to guide enterprise architects to minimize risk, manage cost, build capability and align the technology mission with the business. They actively coach the team to solve complex problems, and is responsible for identifying opportunities that arise from new technology and retail trends to optimize existing tech stack.

**What You’ll Do**:

- Define architectural strategies and principles, gain organizational commitment for enterprise level architecture and infrastructure initiatives, and actively secure its implementation.
- Secure alignment between corporate strategy, enterprise architecture, and available technologies.
- Perform regular architectural maturity assessments and ensure that architectural governance is a fair, consistent and transparent process.
- Define the target technology direction of the organization, enterprise technology standards and policies.
- Resolve cross products or domain dependencies.
- Coach and develop the Solutions Architects as well as build and manage an architecture community.
- Identify, communicate and mitigate architecture risks on the highest level.
- Develop architectural metrics and formats for the executive team, business and IT management.
- Review new and existing program/project architecture for compliance with IT standards, policies and architectural plans.
- Identify opportunities that arise from new technology and retail trends.

**Qualifications** Let’s Talk About You**:

- Skilled people manager with experience in strength-based feedback, OKR based individual development.
- Proven track record in recruiting and identifying strong enterprise architecture talent.
- Evaluation and coaching of Enterprise Architects.
- Deep knowledge in architecture principles and design.
- Skilled in Cloud Native Applications.
- Experience in architecture views and viewpoint design, building block design, services design, solution modelling and systems behavior & integration.
- Ability to abstract and problem solve highly complexed challenges, define and safeguard strategies, principles and target directions.
- Understand business processes E2E and their implementation through technology.
