Overview:
As a Controller, you will play a crucial role in protecting the company’s assets and assisting the operations team through business expansion by ensuring timely and accurate reporting, implementation of scalable processes and providing sound business advice.

**Responsibilities**:

- Complete an effective, efficient, and timely month-end close process, including ownership of the general ledger, preparation of adjusting entries and monthly reconciliations for all Rock Solid locations.
- Manage revenue recognition, reconcile AP/AR and respond to third-party enquiries with respect and transparency.
- Lead the annual budget and variance analysis
- Prepare all financials in a timely manner, meeting bank covenants, partner requirements and CRA requirements.
- Liaise with external accountants through the annual review
- Enhance and evolve processes and internal controls to meet the growth of the business.
- Assume all treasury management responsibilities
- Review Key performance indicators with Leadership monthly
- Maintain all MIS, namely the projects reporting platform
- Ensure compliance and reporting for all government programs including GST, PST, WCB, Payroll remittances, corporate tax, and any other authorities that may arise over time.

Qualifications:

- 5+ years of experience in a Controller or equivalent role.
- CPA designation or nearing completion.
- Experience in auditing or preparing financial statements.
- Strong computer skills, particularly in Excel and QuickBooks.
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent activities, demonstrating excellent judgment under tight deadlines.

Pay: $95,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
