**Payroll & Data Specialist**:
Remote (with on-site training in Montréal for the first 2 weeks)

At **1-800-GOT-JUNK? Montréal**& Eco-Depot**, we’re known for fast, professional service—and that starts behind the scenes. We’re hiring a **Contract Payroll & Data Specialist** to help manage payroll and reporting while a team member is on parental leave.

**About the Role**:
This is a **backend support role** with a focus on **payroll, data accuracy, and automation**. You’ll work independently to manage payroll through Ceridian PowerPay, ensure all data in our interconnected Google Sheets is clean and up to date, and use light scripting to streamline processes.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Run and validate payroll using **Ceridian PowerPay**
- Maintain and update **interconnected Google Sheets**
- Use **scripts (Apps Script/Excel formulas)** to automate tasks
- Pull, clean, and organize data for payroll, reporting, and compliance
- Collaborate with admin, finance, and operations to ensure smooth payroll cycles

**What You Bring**:
**Experience in payroll processing** (Ceridian PowerPay required)
Advanced skills in **Google Sheets** (formulas, cross-sheet linking, scripting/automation)
Excellent attention to detail—accuracy is non-negotiable
Ability to work independently, stay organized, and meet recurring deadlines
Comfortable with part-time hours and a flexible, self-managed workflow

**Compensation & Details**:

- **Part-time contract**: ~20 hours/week, Monday-Friday
- **Remote**, with **on-site training** in Montréal for the first 2 weeks
- **$22-$27/hour**, based on experience
- Contract length**:3-4 months** (parental leave coverage)
