**Position Summary**:
As the Team Lead for Behavior Support Workers (BSW), you will play a pivotal role in fostering a supportive and structured environment for both the staff and the youth within our residential setting. You will oversee daily operations, provide comprehensive training, and ensure that all aspects of house management are executed seamlessly. Your leadership will be integral to maintaining the stability and growth of our team.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- 1. House Oversight:_
- Supervision & Guidance: Provide daily supervision and guidance to the team of Behavior Support Workers (BSW) and Shift Leads (SL). Ensure availability for calls, action plans, and additional training as needed.
- Documentation Management: Ensure all house binders and information are updated monthly.
- 2. House Meetings:_
- Team Coordination: Conduct team meetings every 4 weeks to foster house stability and team building.
- Data Reporting: Provide house-related data to supervisors upon request.
- 3. Training:_
- Job Role Training: Train BSWs on their job responsibilities and house procedures.
- Youth Case Management: Introduce and teach BSWs how to manage youth cases, including providing necessary youth information and documentation.
- 4. Performance Evaluation:_
- Performance Monitoring: Regularly monitor the performance of Shift Leads and BSWs.
- Empowerment & Development: Empower the team by teaching adaptive skills for effective youth case management.
- Quarterly Reviews: Submit quarterly performance evaluations to HR for review.
- 5. Documentation:_
- Professional Standards: Ensure all documentation is handled ethically and professionally in accordance with Sheltering Wing standards.
- Template Training: Train team members on all templates relevant to each youth.
- 6. Communication:_
- Case Management: Collaborate with the Behavior Consultant to discuss any changes in youth behavior.
- Team Feedback: Address and communicate house strengths and areas for improvement to the team.
- Internal Collaboration: Engage with internal colleagues to strengthen the field team.
- 7. Crisis Intervention:_
- Plan Implementation: Understand and teach behavior plans to field staff.
- 8. Case Management:_
- Stakeholder Communication: Provide relevant information to stakeholders regarding the well-being of youth.
- Coordination of Activities: Manage and coordinate school interactions, medical appointments, family visits, and extracurricular activities.
- 9. Food Management:_
- Meal Planning: Develop a monthly meal plan for BSWs to follow.
- Grocery Management: Ensure groceries are procured in alignment with the meal plan.
- Financial Communication: Communicate financial needs to the supervisor for budgetary support.
- 10. Maintenance:_
- House Repairs: Report and manage any necessary repairs due to impacts from youth activities.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a residential or behavioral support setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
- Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques and behavior management plans.
- Commitment to ethical and professional standards of practice.

**Working Conditions**:

- **Environment**: Residential setting with varying shifts.
- **Schedule**: Flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Night shift
