**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to process customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and addressing any concerns.
- Handle cash transactions, ensuring accurate cash handling and adherence to company policies.
- Assist with stocking shelves and merchandising products to enhance the shopping experience.
- Demonstrate products as needed and engage in upselling techniques to promote additional sales.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area, including restocking supplies as necessary.
- Support supervisory staff by assisting in training new cashiers and providing guidance when needed.
- Utilize basic math skills for accurate transaction processing and retail math calculations.
- Exhibit strong phone etiquette when answering customer inquiries over the phone.
- Cleaning store, washrooms, pumps

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in cashiering or retail sales is preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Basic math skills are essential for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Experience in merchandising, stocking, or product demonstrations is a plus.
- A commitment to providing outstanding customer service in a grocery store setting is required.
