Qualifications:

- Valid Crane Operator Certification required such as Provincial Trade Credential or Interprovincial Red Seal Journeyman Crane Ticket
- CSTS, Fall Protection, and Aerial Work Platform certification required.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in structural erection or related construction field.
- Possess a valid Class 5 Drivers License and reliable transportation to project site locations
- High Attention to detail, organized.
- Strong willingness to learn.
- Expert knowledge of and experience with solid understanding of crane operations and safety procedures.
- Physical strength and stamina to perform manual labor and work at heights.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow instructions effectively.
- Positive attitude and the ability to maintain optimism and enthusiasm, even in challenging situations.
- Ability to work effectively in a diverse team environment, respecting and valuing the contributions of all team members.

**Duties**:

- Conduct preoperational checks.
- Complete necessary documentation during pre and pot projects.
- Perform routine maintenance on the crane.
- Safely maneuver the crane on site to the designated location, considering factors of construction and maneuverability
- Perform structural ironworking tasks such as operate crane to hoist structural steel members, move and position heavy loads, materials and equipment as needed.
- Ensure all loads are properly secured and balanced.
- Comply with all safety regulations and company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members to complete tasks efficiently and safely.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and adhere to project plans and schedules.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained.
- Overtime required: ensure projects are completed on time.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $34.00-$38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
