**Job Overview**
The Dietary Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring that patients and residents receive nutritious meals that meet their dietary needs. **Responsibilities**

- Ensure that all food service operations comply with health regulations and safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
- Help train new staff members on food service procedures and safety protocols.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any dietary concerns or preferences from patients or residents.
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist in ordering as necessary.
**Skills**
- Experience in the food industry, particularly in roles related to food service or cooking.
- Knowledge of dietary restrictions and nutrition, especially in a hospital or assisted living environment.
- Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with patients, residents, and staff.
- Ability to clean and sanitize kitchen areas thoroughly to maintain a safe working environment.
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work collaboratively with others in a fast-paced setting.
