This is an interview position.

Verifies import information, requests clearance instructions and broker designation. Responsible for performing duties related to the processing of import paperwork, including resolution, tracing and tracking of problem shipments and; updating and recording of shipment status to ensure the customer receives the best experience we can offer. Provides accurate information and assistance to customers requiring international shipment information.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Educational Requirements

Post Secondary:

- Canadian High school/ GED equivalentProfessional accreditation/certification:

- None

Minimum number of years required for entry to this job
- FedEx - 6 months (preferred) Amount of time required to learn or adjust to the job
- Six months

Technical Skill Requirements

Solid knowledge of the following:

- Knowledge of FedEx Operations preferred
- Knowledge of Canadian Customs Import and Export regulations preferred
- Must be able to operate in a PC windows environment and achieve minimum thresholds on testing and training
- Excel Basic (preferred)

Must have the ability to lift 70 lbs and maneuver any package weighing up to 150 lbs with the appropriate equipment if position is located at the following ports: YQG, YOW, YEG, YWG, YYC, YMX.
- Occasional driving may be required, as such, a valid driver's licence and good driving record is required if position is located at the following ports: YQG, YOW, YEG, YWG, YYC, YMX.
- If this incumbent resides in the province of Quebec, you must be bilingual (French and English).
