We are looking for an experienced Paint Sales Associate. The Paint Sales Associate will assist in the receiving, stocking, pricing of all merchandise, and help in maintaining an orderly merchandise presentation. The Paint Sales Associate will also provide assistance to customers within the Paint Department.

Customer service:

- Responsible for tinting, mixing and color matching the paint.
- Responsible for promoting paint and sundries to customers.
- Proactively assist customers in solving problems.
- Possess a friendly outgoing demeanor; work well with customers as well as associates.
- Possess strong product knowledge and knowledge of store layout and location of products.
- Greet customers entering and throughout the store. Thank customers when finished and when they are leaving the store.
- Ensure that all calls are answered promptly, courteously, and effectively.
- Assist customers throughout the store with personal, customized service based on the premise of amazing every customer, every time.

Store operations:

- A minimum of 1 year of experience in selling paint products.
- Experience in a retail or customer service environment.
- Assist in creating a positive, professional, and safe work environment.
- Assist with receiving, checking in and stocking of merchandise throughout the store.
- Assist with maintaining back stock levels.
- Provide assistance to the manager on price changes, special orders etc.
- Communicate any merchandising, cost control or sales idea to manager.
- Participate in store meetings. Be professional in appearance and actions.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
- Operate billing system to make sale transactions.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: $15.50-$20.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Stratford, ON N5A 3J7: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- sales: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
