For more than 50 years, Michener Allen Auctioneering been a major supplier of auctioneering services to a wide range of market interests across Western Canada.**

**As of October 2023, Michener Allen Auctioneering was acquired by Euro Auctions with auction facilities spanning four continents providing the company with a global reach while maintaining its local identity.**

The Auction Operations Manager is responsible for all yard operations and for ensuring all facilities are in place and all items are suitably prepared before each sale.

**The Job**
- Manage all yard operations to ensure the smooth running of all auctions.
- Oversee the booking in of all auctions stock ensuring accuracy of descriptions and correct procedures are followed
- Safe coordination and control of all loading and unloading activities.
- Ensure all auction stock is suitably prepared for sale, photographed and displayed on the company website.
- Manage and coordinate the workloads of all yard staff and subcontractors.
- Resolve any stock related issues.
- Liaise with customers and hauliers on suitable delivery and collection times.
- Maintenance of auction facilities.
- Overseeing the servicing of auction equipment and vehicles.

**The Person**

The ideal Auction Operations Manager is an organized, proactive leader with strong communication skills and a talent for managing teams in a fast-paced environment. They excel at problem-solving, streamlining workflows, and ensuring smooth execution of auctions while delivering exceptional customer and team experiences.

**Essential Requirements**
- Valid Driver’s Licence
- A minimum of 3 years managerial experience.
- Experience working with machinery and vehicles.
- In date health and safety certification.
- In date first aid certification.
- Have excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Have excellent business presentation skills.

**Desirable Criteria**
- Previous experience working in the auction industry.
