**Summary**

We are a high-volume commercial GC running 40-60 fast-track retail, restaurant, QSR, clinic and office projects per year. We are seeking a Site Superintendent to oversee construction projects at our locations in Alberta, BC, Saskatchewan. Based in the field, this role is vital for ensuring project success by managing teams, maintaining quality standards, and adhering to schedules. We are in need of a team leader who can run multiple jobs at once AND jump in with tools, when required, to keep things moving forward.

This is a HANDS-ON superintendent role - you supervise, you mentor, you hire/fire, your own safety and you personally fix deficiencies so we hit deadline and make the client happy.

**Responsibilities**
- Run 2-6 concurrent $50k-$500k fast-track commercial jobs from start to handover
- Own the master schedule 100 % - update daily, flag slippage immediately, and provide written recovery plan the same day
- Maintain the inspection schedule
- Notify every sub-trade the moment their area is ready (text + photo proof)
- Read and red-line full architectural, structural, and MEP drawing packages fluently
- Personally fix finishing deficiencies so we never miss deadlines (drywall patch & paint, tile/grout, baseboard, vinyl flooring, door hardware, minor plumbing leaks, etc.)
- Hire, mentor, discipline and fire crew & subs
- Run full site-specific safety program on every job (COR/SECOR standards)
- Submit detailed daily report + photos every single day - no exceptions
- Supervise daily construction activities on-site to ensure safety and compliance.
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to meet project timelines.
- Monitor quality control measures and ensure adherence to blueprints and schematics.
- Manage site logistics, materials, and equipment efficiently.
- Foster a collaborative team environment focused on continuous improvement.
- **Qualifications - Must-Have Requirements - No Exceptions**:

- 5+ years lead superintendent on $50k-$500k commercial projects (retail, restaurant, QSR, clinic, office TI)
- Expert at reading full drawing packages
- Proven history of finishing jobs on or ahead of schedule (bring real schedules)
- Proven hiring & firing experience
- Hands-on finishing skills listed above (we will test)
- Current safety tickets + real COR/SECOR experience
- 80-90% travel ready (40-48 weeks/year away from home)
- Clean Class 5 driver’s licence + clean driver’s abstract (we will pull it - no more than 2 minor tickets in the last 3 years)
- Ambition to become Senior Superintendent in 2-3 years
- Proven supervising experience in construction or related fields.
- Proficiency with ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, and other construction management software.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards.
- Effective communication skills with team members and clients.
